At Sacred Valley Yoga, we honor Vedic wisdom and Andean earth medicine, rooted deeply in devotion as the path and foundation of our practice. We hold spaces to return to what is essential.
Our retreats are a pause to reconnect with yourself, step away from the noise, and return to a place that is more real, more simple, more yours.
“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.”
— Bhagavad Gita
Conscious movement and breathwork to return to yourself, release physical blockages, and find a clearer, more stable balance.
A space of heat, song, and introspection to melt away stress and clear the mind.
Emotional release and expression through free movement, letting go of stagnant energy and recovering your own rhythm.
Study of Vedic wisdom as an active meditation practice and connection through devotion.
Our sanctuary is hosted at Melissa Wasi, nestled in the peaceful mountains of Pisac, in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas (Cusco, Peru), surrounded by mountains that hold and care for our practices.
Please note: The retreat takes place at high altitude (approx. 3,000m / 9,800ft). We recommend arriving in Cusco 1-2 days early to acclimate.

My journey with yoga began five years ago as a personal practice that has sustained me in this dance of life. Living in the Andes, this practice has naturally intertwined with the Andean worldview and its prayers, medicines, and wisdom, which for me, make this walk through the world a little sweeter.
Opening this space is a form of service: having the tools to sustain ourselves, integrating these teachings into our daily lives, and finding deep within us all the medicine we have been carrying.
Join us for a total immersion in the mountains and dive into 5 days full of healing, vibration, and silence.
✧ Small intimate groups of up to 10 participants.
✧ A $300 USD deposit is required to secure your spot.
✧ The remaining payment will be made in cash on the day of arrival.
✧ Flight tickets are not included.
You want to explore the profound connection between the ancient wisdom of the Vedas and the Andean Cosmovision, integrating Eastern philosophy with a deep respect for Pachamama (Mother Earth).
You are looking for a gentle practice, free of judgment or pressure, where your body is truly heard and honored.
You wish to adopt authentic, sustainable wellness routines to transform your daily life long after the retreat is over.
You want to surround yourself with people who share your values of peace, self-care, and spiritual growth.
Not at all! Our retreat is designed to be a gentle journey for the soul. While we welcome all levels, we do recommend having a basic foundation in yoga or maintaining a regular physical activity routine. This ensures you can comfortably enjoy the flow of our practices and fully immerse yourself in the experience.
The weather in the Andes is highly variable. Days are usually warm and sunny, but at night and early morning, the temperature drops dramatically. Rain is also common and can happen suddenly, so we recommend bringing comfortable clothes for the heat, heavy coats for the cold, and a waterproof jacket or poncho.
We provide a 100% vegetarian Ayurvedic diet. We use fresh ingredients locally sourced from the valley. Each meal is designed to be light and nourishing to facilitate the processes of the retreat. If you have any specific allergies, please let us know in the registration form.
The Mancapacha is an Andean sweat lodge. Its name means "entering the womb of Mother Earth." It is a small structure where hot volcanic stones are placed and water infused with medicinal herbs is poured over them, creating a ceremonial sauna to purify physical and emotional toxins. It originates from the Amawtic tradition of the Bolivian Andes.
Very comfortable clothes for practices (leggings, sweatpants), a good coat or jacket, comfortable sneakers, a reusable water bottle, natural mosquito repellent, and a journal for your personal notes.
Yes. Although we have a curated program, we firmly believe in the power of silence and contemplation. There will be rest periods after lunch to read, walk, or simply be with yourself.
Accommodation is in shared rooms designed for holistic rest. The beds are very comfortable and clean. Learning to share sacred space is part of the community ("ayllu") experience we practice.
